Born and raised near Austin, Texas, Kirsten moved to Portland in 2009 and apprenticed at Icon Tattoo under Melanie Nead. She has pursued art since childhood and is influenced by traditional tattoos and botanical illustrations. She loves to make large-scale tattoos that use bold lines and saturated, rich tones.
