What's new
A short list of meaningful site improvements for people browsing Portland tattoo artists and studios.
Artist profile pages now put portfolio images higher on the page, so visitors can start with the work before reading the full details.
We added 25 new artist profiles and 11 shop profiles to the directory, expanding the number of Portland tattoo portfolios and studios visitors can compare by style, specialty, and booking path.
We added an artist picks newsletter in the site footer for visitors who want fresh Portland artist additions and curated local recommendations. New subscribers confirm their email before the welcome email goes out, and subscribers can request a secure link to manage or unsubscribe without using the contact form.
We made homepage specialty browsing cleaner, with stronger artist cards, clearer style and specialty sections, and less repeated information while comparing artists.
We cleaned up the small-screen layout so the header, mobile menu, filters, contact page, footer, and artist and shop cards are easier to scan on narrow phones.
We added a public sitemap that gathers the main directory pages, artist profiles, shop profiles, blog guides, trust pages, and policy pages in one place.
The blog now has a date archive, so visitors can browse posts by year and month and scan archived articles with cover images and short summaries.
You can now find PDX Tattoos on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook from the site footer and mobile menu.
We added a suggestion box for quick feedback, so visitors can send a note when something is missing, confusing, or worth adding.
Artist and shop pages now show the gallery earlier on phones and tablets, so it is easier to start with the portfolio before reading the full details.
When someone shares the homepage, an artist profile, or a shop profile, the preview image now uses polished PDX Tattoos artwork so shared links are easier to recognize in texts, DMs, and social apps.
The directory now shows styles and specialties more clearly across artist and shop pages, making it easier to browse for details like fine line, botanical tattoos, scar cover-ups, and pet memorial tattoos.
We added the first public set of 35 artist profiles and 5 shop profiles to the directory, giving visitors a stronger starting point for browsing Portland tattoo portfolios, studios, and booking links.
