Born in 1967, Mav began tattooing professionally in 1992 in San Jose, California. He trained under legendary tattoo artists including Lance Mclain, Eric Maaske, Dave Gibson, and Mike Malone. Relocated to Portland in 1996 and joined Atlas Tattoo in 2014. Works Sundays on a same-day call-in basis.
